Regina is the capital of Saskatchewan. It is one of the prairie provinces of Canada. I was born and raised right here.
All my life I have loved dogs, in particular, COLLIES! I actually wanted one before I ever knew what they looked like because of the wonderful stories my father would tell me of the collies he loved as a child. But it wasn't until 1966 when I finally got my first purebred collie, I was 17. I have not been without a collie since then.
My first collies were roughs..it wasn't until four years after I began breeding them, that I got my first smooth collie. Her picture is at the top on your right.
Rough OR smooth, they are collies and as such I love both varieties deeply. For the person or family on the go who has little time for grooming a smooth might be the better choice. But regardless of coat TYPE you will get the same keen intelligence and sensitive, intuitive character, the same reliable family companion.
I work part-time as a Health Care Professional. I love people, but the dogs..ah yes the collies..they are my HEART.
