Ilmari has 2 pts towards his championship, plus he and his mom took BBISS at the CCC National in 2006..but I have decided he will not be used for breeding due to his having a mild case of distichia(extra eye lashes) which are inheritable.   I have spoken with various opthals and they cannot tell me if they are inherited in LIKE degree or randomly (meaning a puppy could be born with severe distichia which would result in a very painful condition for the puppy requiring surgery to correct), thus I decided to neuter Ilmari as it is tough being the only boy among such beautiful and from time to time enticing collie girls. Ilmari is such a sweet natured boy and loves to 'babysit' litters of puppies. He is a staunch guardian  of my home and helper around the place making himself useful in various ways.  Highly intelligent he also competes in Rally O and has his CD obedience degree.  He is my 'right hand guy'!
